About:
Clubspotting 2.0 broadens
its coverage from Italy to the international scene and features the
world's hottest clubs, music, flyers and artists. Its focus is street
culture, the progenitor of club culture, and a major highlight of the
book is the project Defumo. Defumo resulted from a collaboration between
three highly revered street artists, Delta, Futura 2000 and Mode 2,
in which they painted a club in Modena called MORe. The outcome is simply
mind-blowing.
Musically, Clubspotting 2.0 focuses on Pussyfoot, an historic independent
label that has sought out and nurtured experimental sounds and visuals
by working with DJs such as Howie B and Spacer and designers such as
Toshio Nakanishi and Run Wrake.
Features flyers from top clubs located outside the hot spots: Zouk,
Singapore; Luxfragil, Lisbon; Rex, Vienna; and Dinamo of Tel Aviv.
