"The greatest American Hero"

GI JOE!!! Well, they were hardly a first, but these figures brought tons of articulation and waist-slinging action to the homes of many little kids. Action figures have been around quite sometime, like the Micronauts, and have really taken over the toy world. They usually are 4" in height and use a technique called injection molding, like LEGO blocks, and have moving joints. Thanks to McFarlane's success, toys have really gone in the direction of ultra detailed sculpts. Got to give him his due.

Okay, we've seen a ton of figures in our days but there are a few definitely worthy of mention. G-Force, also known as "Gatchaman" in Asia and Battle of the Planets in the US has never seen better figures. High attention to detail! Stikfas is the best thing we've seen since SPAM...sorry those Asian roots coming out. This figure is a do-it-yourself action figure and articulates... EVERYWHERE! Just about the best figure we have seen.....ever! Tons of fan sites to make you an addict.
