About:
New
York based, graphic designer Deanne Cheuk has been labeled the "Graphic
wunderkind of New York shores" by Fashion.net, and "a leader" by
Flaunt Magazine. She was featured as one of the top fifty creatives
in the world in The Face magazine in November 2002. Cheuk has art
directed 12 magazines, including her self published Mu. She is currently
the Art Director of Tokion magazine and regularly compiles the widely
acclaimed graphic 'zine of inspiration Neomu ? the smallest magazine
in the world. Fashion clients include Stussy, PAM, Kato, Levi's Strauss
Japan, Fataim and Relax Magazine. Cheuk's work has been exhibited
in Japan, London, Hong Kong, Australia, Spain, and in New York. Her
illustrations are regularly commissioned by magazines including Flaunt,
Nylon, BlackBook, Black & White, Cosmo Girl and Glamour. Cheuk
has been commissoned to illustrate portraits of such icons as Giorgio
Armani, John Galiano, Deborah Harry and Timbaland & Magoo. Her
three favourite things in the world are cuckoo clocks, mountains
and tapioca.
