Her
works, mostly drawings, show her deep emotions as Japan’s youth of
today under pressure of living this modern but twisted and conflicted
society. These her emotions are expressed in styles similar to Baby
Generation artists. She is one of the followers of Yoshitomo Nara
who has recently hit the Japan’s art scene and the emotions Kushinaga
show are basically same as Nara’s. Kushinaga also produces various
small things on her own such as postcards, under wears and t-shirts
with her drawing works printed in. Soon, her first book will be published
by Kadokawa, one of the Japan’s major publishers.
