Kostas
Seremetis is a New York based artist who has been painting for the
past ten years. Kostas's
work is graffiti-influenced fine art that portrays popular comic book
and sci-fi heroes and villains, depicting the eternal battle between
good and evil. His work is graphically consistent and has been described
as abstract expressionist popular art that evokes an emotional response.
Kostas's work has been exhibited in the United States and around the
world including New York, Los Angeles, London, Berlin, Hong Kong, Tokyo
and Paris. In addition to painting, Kostas is known for his short films
and his t-shirt, action figure, html, and cd/record cover designs.
Kostas designs and paints all of his work and is known to labor 12-16
hours a day, 6 days a week. Kostas is twenty-nine and currently resides
in Brooklyn and he manages and designs his own website.
